I'm the Big Time Now #NotReally

See this thingy here <-------? How can you not. It's a banner for a company that I am loving. You all know about my shopping habits; thankfully, there are numerous companies out there to enable me. I recently became addicted to monthly subscription boxes; dangerous game, I know. But one such box, is called FabFitFun, and they asked me to be an affiliate for them because I am just soooooooooo internet famous.

I had seen their ads on Facebook and Pinterest before, and finally clicked one to see what they had to offer. Bad move. I was hooked. I true Stockholm Syndrome fashion, I have come to love my captors and am now telling you about the our lord and saviour.

Should you decide to drink the Kool-Aid, FabFitFun caters to every lady's interest in being fabulous, fit, and fun. Your first box will be which ever season it currently is, so if you signed up now, you would get the Fall Box. Along with your first box also comes the Welcome Box, in it are full size products for you to enjoy as a special little present. My first one came with a $200 gold and black sapphire necklace, $80 headphones, an adorable jump rope and workout videos, a delicious chocolate protein shake, and a few other little things. I then got my summer box that had a plethora of hair and beauty products, a Popsicle tray, a beach tote with a carpe diem pun, and a very soft yoga/beach towel. It was customized to me through their Snapchat page. They would post "spoilers" on their story and you chose what colours of the products you wanted through taking a screenshot of the options available. I can honestly say, I used everything in that box.

My next box is the Fall Box and I have learned through the spoilers that I am getting a wool scarf from Mod Cloth (another company that I am also an affiliate with), a cute travel mug with a leak proof lid, limited edition Spongelle Bulgarian Rose Body Wash Infused Buffer, and I'm sure many other fun surprises. Each box always has over $200 worth of products. You can pay extra each month for "add-ons" to be added into your box. I chose to donate $10 to Pencils of Promise, I got a Fair Trade white jade bracelet from Tribe Alive that paid the artisans a living wage in a developing country, I also chose a Half United Silver Bullet necklace made from an used bullet; the proceeds buy seven meals for child. Finally, because it was pretty and I ran out of charities to help with my shopping problem, I bought a Luv AJ T-bar ring in rose gold. It was pretty. I am weak.

Being an affiliate is great. I get to promote a company that I love and believe in. As a perk, I get a commission for each sale I make through talking to all of you lovelies. Now, you may think I'm just tooting their horn, but honestly, you also get discounts should you sign up through my page. We would also get to be BFFFFF's (Best FabFitFun Friends Forever [coined it!!]).

Should this not be your scene. You may want to check out some of these other companies that have signed me on to their affiliation program.

Has anyone ever heard of UrthBox? They are 100% Organic and non-GMO snack subscription box company (if you're into that kind of thing). You can choose to order from four select types of boxes: Classic, Vegan, Gluten Free, and Diet. They then break it down further by offering the amount of snacks you want in each box and for how many months you want to subscribe. I chose to get 6+ Gluten Free snacks for one year.

They also offer full-size snacks, so I was very excited when my first box arrived. There was a bit of a kerfuffle when ordering it. They only ship on the 15th of the month and the first box is sent out one month from when you first subscribe. I don't read fine print very well so I though Canada Post stole it. But once it arrived, whooo lordy! So many very tasty snacks to choose from. I ate them all in one weekend. I made the mistake of sharing them with my boyfriend. He has a horrible sweet tooth. I didn't learn my lesson though, I took the next box down with me to visit him and he ate all of the snack bars when i wasn't looking. I wasn't mad, frankly I'm happy when he eats my food, even if I didn't cook it. The fact that a non-Celiac individual devours GF foods is a testament to their deliciousness though. The next box is going to be all mine though.

Now, I've only had two boxes to date; but, I have noticed an awful lot of bars in the box. I'm not sure if this is just coincidence, or has something to do with the limitations of gluten free. But should you want to test out the boxes, please let me know what you get.

ModCloth

These folks sell a little bit of everything. Homewares, stationery, accessories, and retro/vintage inspired clothes. Any woman of any size can find something affordable and adorable at ModCloth. I have bought a couple sweaters from them. If you know me at all, then I'm sure you're heard me say that the way to my heart is through anything with an animal on it. I almost bought a men's button-down shirt because it had a fish skeleton print on it. In the same day, I also almost bought my boyfriend a bow tie with little whales on it.

Teacher friends, these guys have a little something called the "School Cardigan". It fits amazing, looks super cute, and comes in every single colour. They also have super cute skirts with really fun prints. Like this one:

It has a giant pink octopus on it! How many people can say they own something like this in their wardrobe?! I wish I could say that. Currently, I've been very poor because I"m fiscally irresponsible. But if I were more responsible, I would have money to buy everything from them. (Would being more responsible and then spending all my money on ModCloth products then cancel out the responsibleness?) My wishlist on their website can be accurately described as their entire website. While researching their page for stuff to write about in this post, I "accidentally" created my wedding gift registry. Again, still not even remotely close to getting married, I just know what I hypothetically want.

Speaking of which! ModCloth has their own wedding section should you be needing retro/vintage inspired wedding attire. They even have affordable wedding gowns. We all know how stupid expensive weddings are, so why not get the look you want at half the price?! If nothing else, you can peruse for inspiration.

Finally, the last company that has signed me on is LuLus. Their website says they sell Junior fashion, but I wear their clothes and I'm old, so... Certainly, some of their stuff may be a little "young", but then you don't have to buy it. I have ordered a lot of stuff from these guys in the past. I got this gorgeous mint green dress with a plunging neckline, wore it to a CEOs and Office Ho's party. It fit the bill perfectly. I got a purple shift dress from them that I wore to my sister's bachelorette party. I got a different mint dress, it was really strappy and flowy, I could wear it with no bra, no problem. Some first year at OC's told me I looked old in it, but it wasn't the dresses fault. Just a little shit who doesn't know how to talk to a lady in a sketchy bar. I got a sexy white "envelope" dress that I wore somewhere, it was a hit! I have a couple other dresses and shoes and skirts from them. Nothing has ever fallen apart, and I've never once had an issue with ordering from them. Just read the sizing guides, article descriptions, and reviews. You'll be having fun in no time.

With these guys, I also have a ridiculously large wish list and love list. I've come to accept that I'll never be rich. From what I've found, these are favourite people to shop from when I want something flirty or sexy for an event or to go dancing. But just recently, they have opened up an "office wear" line that can certainly be appropriate with some casual, neutral pieces, already in your wardrobes.

Anyways friends!! I just wanted to share with you some very exciting things in my life right now. Please, do not ever feel pressured to sign up for anything or buy anything. I'm just so stoked that companies think I'm someone they would want to represent them. More so, that they are willing to pay me for any business I might bring them. I remember first hearing from FabFitFun and thinking there is no way they could actually want me. They asked how many followers I had on all of my media and through the blog. The amount for all of them put together is abyssal, but they said they loved the blog and what I had to say and would love to have me be a part of the affiliate program. I squealed. Then it kept happening and I feel so cool and popular and recognized now. It still blows my mind. So this is my mind goo blowing all over you :p
